I photograph from eyes to my
heart. I must feel emotion before I press the shutter. I can feel
immediately whether my composition will have a change to pass my test to
print. I obtained my artist touch from my mother, who worked with oils.
My parents kept Life, Look, Saturday Evening Post,
Town and Country and National Geographic magazines in the
house, and I was always looking through them, and from this early
beginning, I began developing my sense of composition.
